The smell of fresh lavender, a tea party with friends and many little giggles, what could get better than that? - Not much else in my opinion. My daughter and some friends of ours went to Moore's Manor which is a lavender farm; it was our first, but certainly not last time we'll be spending a summer's day there. It was very peaceful, with endless rows of fresh lavender, waiting to be cut and scenting the air as it gently swayed in the summer's breeze.
We brought our food and had a picnic lunch, and our friends brought their tea set for our girls to have a tea party in the Secret Garden on site. It was such a beautiful day, from the weather to the flowers all around the grounds to the lavender itself. By the way, they sell grade lavender lemonade which has the perfect balance of lemonade to lavender (not sure it's actually from their fields it's made), it's delicious! And they have the most adorable little shop with all thing's lavender in it - definitely a must go back to kinda place and hopefully not forget my wallet so I can pick up a little gift next time!
